Sheraton Laguna Nusa Dua

If you have ever been to the Sheraton Laguna Hotel in Phuket in Thailand and like its facilities and layout then you will like this one in Bali too because it has the same look and feel as the Phuket one.

Just like the Sheraton in Phuket, you will find:

• a small man-made sand beach around the laguna pool so that children can play sand there and the water is not too deep so young children can play by the water too.
   
• a children's pool
   
• very long water channels joining all swimming pools together so that you can practically swim around the hotel.

Unlike the Putri Bali Hotel, topless sunbathing doesn't seem to be a problem here.  We've seen ladies went topless by the pool.

The food in Sheraton Laguna is good, similar quality to the Grand Hyatt I would say, and similar price too.  I presume the price makes the difference (as I mentioned in my visit to Melia Villas and Spa and Putri Bali Hotel, these hotels' restaurants are a bit cheaper but you have to sacrifice the quality somewhat.)  We ordered one Nasi Goreng, one beef and mushroom pie with frie and a mini beef burger with chips from the children menu for my son.

The share of beach Sheraton Bali got is not very big.  We've checked along the beach and none of the hotels' share of beach can compare with the Grand Hyatt's no matter size-wise or landscape-wise.  I love the sea creatures you can see when the tide is low.  I am never tired of exploring there.
